Lately the term brunch has become more popular in our city. We are clear that it is not our tradition and for many it is simply an anglicism to call the word “onces.” But this does not prevent us from enjoying those places that make brunch  something more special than a lunch at noon; of those places that offer us a brunch  simply as an excuse to meet friends and have a different plan on Sundays.

In case it is not clear, brunch  is a mixture of the dishes served at breakfast and lunch. It is enjoyed before noon, but after breakfast. It is the combination between breakfast and lunch, brunch. In Bogotá, many restaurants / bakeries / patisseries offer this option, but there are some more special and sound than others.

Club Colombia

Again we talk about the empire of Harry Sasson. This beautiful house, with natural walls and 350 square meters, offers one of the best options of brunch  Bogotá: a la carte or a large, diverse buffet with all the food that can fill your table. But the richest thing is that it is not an English or American style brunch , it is Colombian style. Its menu generally contains ceviche, prawns, rib and potato broth, pipian empanadas, egg arepa, Bogota tamale, seafood casserole, golden overcoat and more. Its buffet changes every week, but the offer varies between everything you can eat for breakfast and what you would like to eat for lunch.
